leni and iggy
Iggy at the Grande Ballroom, Detroit. by Leni Sinclair.
This photograph would have been taken forty years ago. That's two generations of rock-and-rollers who've been influenced by The Stooges! It's little wonder that Leni can't remember what camera she used to capture this image ("but it probably cost less than $100!...") She does remember it was shot on 400ISO, because that was the fastest film available back then. A true master, Leni wouldn't buy a flash until decades later. I don't know about you but I'm inspired to travel lighter!
You can fall in love with Leni here.
Thank you again, Leni. Forty years later and you still enlighten and inspire...

Goodbye, sweet Polaroid...
Sad, sad, SAD news...Polaroid Corporation is discontinuing its instant film. Sigh!...
There's something about taking a polaroid of a child, and holding it together and marvelling as it slowly, slowly, reveals its magic...
First day of Kindergarten.
Sand box army.
SO cool!
